To obtain Zarude on Pokémon Quetzal (v0.8.2)
To get Zarude, you must first have caught the legendary Pokémon Celebi—completing the Pokémon League is not required. Then, place Celebi in the first slot of your party, and make sure the rest of your team consists of Grass-type Pokémon.
Next, head to Petalburg Woods, and there you’ll find Zarude waiting for you at level 50.
